Our UK Sisters and Brothers are not keeping quiet and in the span of a few hours last night, have completely gotten their shit in gear working on a project to show that Punky Moms Trump Hate. I’m so very proud of our Punky Mom Family.
The Punky Moms UK team are mobilizing and putting together a Punky Dads calendar that will be available to purchase in a few weeks. Each month’s photos will feature Punky Dads dressed in drag, with quotes that Trump has said about women. Proceeds will go to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project.
Sylvia Rivera, named The Mother of the LGBT movement, was a trans Latina Civil Rights pioneer and advocate for the rights of low-income queers, homeless youth, and trans people of color. Sylvia and Marsha P. Johnson founded STAR (Street Trans Action Revolutionaries). They walked the streets in order to keep everyone fed and sheltered, and to keep their children from having to do the same.
We are obviously in the beginning stages of planning, but also aware we are on a very tight deadline. We have PMs donating their time, services and money, but we could use a little bit more of a push. If every member of our various Facebook groups donated $1/£1 we would reach our goal tenfold.

“The election campaign, and subsequent election of President Trump, has consequences for more than America. Our gang of fierce, feminist mamas – many of whom are ex-pats – needed an outlet for the shock and frustration of the result.
So, we will be creating a satirical calendar. We’re using the problematic and misogynistic words of Trump alongside pictures of our Punky Dads, repping women, whilst raising money for Sylvia Rivera Law Project; a worthy cause which works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination or violence. They need our donations more than ever. Think Carry On meets Ru Paul’s Drag Race, but with more beards and tattoos.
