There’s nothing like some good old honky tonk music, right? Maybe it’s because I grew up in Appalachian country or because I’m a real life coal miner’s daughter, I have a deep affinity for the classic country music. I grew up with it, and I love it more the older I get.
Love, heartbreak, jealousy, working hard, hating your job, drinking beer… it’s literally all there: real life sung about in songs. It’s so relatable.
So enjoy this mix of classic country that I’ve put together. There were so many more that I wanted to include, but I’ll have to save those for another time. I tried to include a few that everyone would recognize and some that you might be familiar with the covers of. And I’d like to dedicate the last track to all my Punky Moms, with love.
