Punky Moms is now proudly powered by WordPress!! I am busy loading our old newsletters, reviews, all sorts of stuff, except member contributed articles. So, if you wanna write a little something, please do!

What does one page of content equal?
One page of content is equal to 500 or more words. 500 words is equal to about five paragraphs. Here’s the loophole – if you are contributing creative writing, or something that truly is short and sweet, you can ignore the 500 word mark. Think of it as a suggestion but not a demand. 

What can it be about?
Check out any of our forum topics for inspiration. Pregnancy & Birthing, Parenting, Kitchen information, Holiday fluff, Home Ec, absolutely any of our topics, and then some. You can write about how it affected you when your dog died, or how you think moms who choose to stay home are nuts, or how moms who chose to go to work are missing out, or why it’s the best thing in the world to chew bubble gum while breastfeeding. I am serious when I say whatever you want to write about is fine.

How will you use this?
They will not be proof-read for grammar and spelling. They will be added to our main site (http://punkymoms.com) under an appropriate category header and will be viewable to everyone (not just members). We are not making money off of them, I want to be able to offer them as reference. Think a Punky BabyZone.com

Is my work still my own once I submit it?
It is your own. The fact that you are submitting it is a digital agreement for us to have it published on our site.

Can I send in more than one?
Yes you can contribute more than one. It doesn’t have to be immediately. Please send your submissions to [email protected]

I’ll need a by-line for everyone who submits. Something five sentences or less, like this:

Jenn is a stay at home mom in South Florida. By day she kisses boo-boos and bakes cakes, by night she is a writer, entrepreneur, lover and all around goddess. You can contact her at [email protected] if you have lots of money to throw at her for looking pretty.
