As back to school approaches it is impossible to not feel nostalgic. Our kids will never know the excitement of picking out the perfect Trapper Keeper and the time we spent perfectly covering our textbooks with paper grocery bags. They will never know the hope we felt when buying a pencil from the school pencil machine while crossing our fingers that it would either have a grape smell or be wrapped in glitter. 1980s school supplies were totally rad man.

Oh gosh I remember so many of these! I had lots of Lisa Frank, and the trollie pencil topper. And of course a Jansport backpack, it was the only cool brand to have!
I renember i had Lisa franks school supplies my uncle Eddie Alvarez owned the company & my dad would alaways have is help to work for our school supplies…we would pay for our stuff that way sometimes he would bring us school supplies with out us knowing…i thank God for my Dad my family &my boys now my dad taught us well.
