A city straddling the River Avon in the southwest of England with a prosperous maritime history. Its former city-centre port is now a cultural hub, the Harbourside, where the M Shed museum explores local social and industrial heritage. The harbour’s 19th-century warehouses now contain restaurants, shops and cultural institutions such as contemporary art gallery The Arnolfini.

The Egg Cafe (Bath) – “The Egg Cafe is situated within The Egg Theatre which is attached to The Theatre Royal in Bath. It has plenty of pushchair space and a play area for young children. The Cafe is very much a family friendly venue, perfect for lunches. Menus include Sandwiches, Paninis, Jacket Potatoes and Children’s Sandwich Plates. If you just want a small snack we have delicious cake and reputedly the best coffee in town! We pride ourselves in welcoming children to the cafe and will cater for all ages. The Egg Cafe is a great meeting place for Mums & Dads who can spend time with friends whilst their children explore the play area.”
