A Political Playlist – A Change Is Gonna Come

A Change Is Gonna Come, is our first political playlist that we are putting out this month. It pays homage to the many protest songs that came before us. A few modern additions including sisters Pussy Riot and troubadour Frank Turner too.

Punky Moms are rarely quiet. You would know this by checking out any of our Facebook groups or our OG Forum. When we collectively get behind a cause, we can move mountains. We have lots of events happening this month that will take us to the streets. We have our own Punky Moms Trump Hate Campaign going on now, a plethora of members attending The Women’s March in DC as well as others attending various protests all throughout the world. Both of our mixtapes this month will be solely political in nature. Our first is A Change Is Gonna Come, a political playlist that pays homage to the many protest songs that came before us. A few modern additions including sisters Pussy Riot and troubadour Frank Turner.

I asked in our Facebook groups for some recommendations on this fantastic political playlist. Are you going to any political events? Be sure to share with us. The revolution will not be televised. Do you think there are any protest anthems we have missed? Next mixtape comes out on Friday, January 20th, Inauguration Day and I promise you it will be LOUD.
